Mitarbeiter:in (w/m/d) Veranstaltungsmanagement / Booking in Vollzeit (35 Stunden) zum 01.03.2024 gesucht Das Kulturzentrum Schlachthof ist Bremens größtes Kulturzentrum mit überregionaler Aus- strahlung. Die Toten Hosen hatten bei uns 1982 ihren ersten Auftritt, 2020 feierten wir unse- ren vierzigsten Geburtstag. Wir bieten ein hochwertiges und vielfältiges Kulturprogramm für unterschiedliche Zielgruppen und fördern den Nachwuchs im Musik-, Theater- und Medien- bereich. Und wir geben eine Zeitung heraus. Künstler:innen und Veranstalter:innen schätzen unsere Location, weil wir unkompliziert nahezu alles ermöglichen. Wir arbeiten autark in unseren Bereichen und steuern das Haus gemeinsam in kollegialer Selbstverwaltung. Der Veranstaltungsbereich ist das Herzstück unseres Hauses und gleichzeitig unser Aushängeschild. Die Programmplanung, Organisation und Durchführung wird bisher von zwei Kolleg:innen in Vollzeit geleistet, von denen eine in den Ruhestand geht. Wir suchen daher eine:n Nachfolger:in, die/der Lust hat diesen Bereich verantwortlich zu führen und weiter zu entwickeln. Ihre Aufgaben: • Selbstständige Konzeption, Organisation und Durchführung von Veranstaltungen einschließlich der Verhandlungsführung mit Künstler:innen und Agenturen • Erarbeitung, Weiterentwicklung und Betreuung neuer sowie bereits bestehender Reihen und Projekte sowie deren Budget- und Kostenkontrolle • Beantragung und Abrechnung von Fördermitteln • Mitarbeit bei der Kommunikation und Bewerbung von Veranstaltungen • Mitarbeit in den Gremien des Hauses sowie Netzwerkarbeit • Verantwortung für die Ausbildung zur/-m Veranstaltungskauffrau/-mann Ihr Profil: • Mindestens drei Jahre Erfahrung im Veranstaltungsprogrammbereich • Studienabschluss, idealerweise im Kultur- oder Veranstaltungsbereich oder abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Veranstaltungskauffrau/-mann oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Planung, Vertragsverhandlungen, Vorproduktion, Durchführung und finanzieller Abwicklung der Shows/Lesungen etc. • Sehr gute Kenntnisse der internationalen und nationalen Musikszene • Herstellung und Pflege von Kontakten regionaler und überregionaler Organisationen, Vereinen und Projektträgern • Spaß an eigenverantwortlicher Tätigkeit mit großem Gestaltungsspielraum • Ausbilderschein oder die Bereitschaft diesen zu machen Wir erwarten: • Selbständigkeit, Initiative, Flexibilität, Ausdauer, Teamgeist • Bereitschaft zu flexiblen Arbeitszeiten, bei Veranstaltungen auch abends und an Wochenenden und Feiertagen • Gute Kenntnisse der geläufigen MS-Office Programme • Sorgfältige, strukturierte und umsichtige Arbeitsweise • Gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikation in Deutsch und Englisch • Bereitschaft zur Zusammenarbeit mit nicht-professionellen Gruppen und Initiativen Das erwartet Sie: • Die Freiheit, eigene Ideen einzubringen und Projekte mitzugestalten • Mitarbeit in einem engagierten Team • Ein interessantes und lebendiges Arbeitsumfeld mit einem Veranstaltungsbetrieb, Kulturwerkstätten (Theater, Medien, Zeitung, Musik) und einem Vermietungsbereich • Eine Tätigkeit im Umfang von 35 Wochenstunden, bezahlt nach dem Haustarif des Kulturzentrum Schlachthof Bei Interesse senden Sie Ihre Bewerbung mit Angabe des frühestmöglichen Eintrittstermins bitte an: e.tueting@schlachthof-bremen.de. DIE GESSNERALLEE ZÜRICH bietet per 01. August 2024 eine Ausbildung zur Veranstaltungsfachperson EFZ

FREEDOM COLLECTIVE is an initiative by No Borders Orchestra, based on a short opera XinSheng by Davor Vincze, which won the Stuttgarter Kompositionspreis in 2022. Since winning the NOperas! the idea is to put on the expanded version of this opera for 13 instruments, 4 singers, Extras as Dancers and electronics in three theatres (Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen, Theater Bremen and Staatstheater Darmstadt with the following premiere dates respectively: 10. February 2024, 27. March 2024, 24. May 2024) as well as 2 more performances in each of the theatres following the premier in the week from the premiere (total 3 performances in 3 theatres = 9 performances). The team consists of composer Davor Vincze, director Heinrich Horwitz, librettist Aleksandar Hut Kono, stage designer and costume designer Magdalena Emmerig, Video- and Lightdesigenr Rosa Wernecke and conductor Premil Petrovic, who is also the founder of No Borders Orchestra (which will not perform this time around, it will all be the local musicians from the opera houses). The story happens in the hypothetical future some 30-50 years from today, in the so-called International Zone, a geographic area to the east of the EU, which was created from the western most parts of Russia and Ukraine, after the current Russian-Ukrainian war. It is the place with loose laws, where the EU is (among other things) currently testing the drug called XinSheng as a kind of doping and party drug that is largely consumed in the International zone. Each year, there is a boxing tournament, the winner of which gets the European equivalent of the Green Card, otherwise hard to obtain. After a series of successful matches, Andrei gets to meet the couple (Fan and Karl) who are extremely influential and sort of run the operations around the Freedom Collective, a former communist factory, now turned into an underground-like laboratory, boxing ring, amusement complex, shopping center all at once. They promise Andrei to help him win the final tournament, but complications emerge as Fan and Andrei fall in love. Important for this production is the fact that the whole team is a queer team, as well as the show itself, with Andrei being a non binary character. Another important aspect is that the narration will be aided by supplementary content that the audience receives via WhatsApp messages (images, short video clips, audio clips, articles) that allow for further immersion and engagement during the show. Our production manager had health issues that prevent her from further managing this project, so we are looking for a new production manager, ideally someone who is a native German speaker and with experience in music and theatre productions as well as in the field of free production management, the pay is 10,000€ for the whole project. Total project budget is 185,000€ and this covers the managing of our team (honorariums, travel, accommodation, score production and props). Marketing, musician paychecks, and everything. that can be done in house is covered by the theatres themselves. The main production happens 3 weeks prior to each premiere, we have in total 9 weeks to put these three versions of the show on. The piece will slightly evolve and adapt to each theatre, but ideally no major changes will be made unless necessary. The project is supported by the 3 aforementioned theatres and the Cultural department of Nord-Rhein Westfalen. She is not directly involved in this project as she has no knowledge of German language, nor the time, but she will be doing the final proof and accounting, as well as the media and other support in the final stages of the project. Furthermore, No Borders Orchestra, registered both in Berlin and Belgrade, is supporting us through their infrastructure, as it would have otherwise been impossible to apply for NOperas! as a collective of independent freelancers. The libretto has been written, the composing started, stage drafts and mood boards are coming out soon. As a next step we need the new production manager to make all the individual contracts within the team, and negotiate next travel and accommodation to and from the theaters, as there will be some preliminary video shooting necessary later this year. HAU: Wir suchen zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt mit bis zu 39,4 Wochenstunden eine:n Videotechniker:in Im Bereich Video sorgen Sie für die fach- und funktionsgerechte Umsetzung aller Videobedarfe der Künstler:innen und -gruppen bei Proben und Aufführungen. Als Videotechniker:in betreuen Sie außerdem die Produktionen auf unserer digitalen Bühne – dem HAU4 – und sind Schnittstelle zur Weiterverwertung von Video- und Streamingangeboten. Wir suchen dafür eine Person, die mit kreativ- technischem Blick neue Formate umsetzt und Künstler:innen videotechnisch berät.
